Sophia arrived just a little earlier than her mommy and daddy were expecting- a nice surprise after so many months of waiting to meet her! She is my smallest peanut yet at just 6lbs and a little bit- just the tiniest little arms and legs and so incredibly sweet! Midea was awesome at offering her lots to eat so that she settled down and could get comfy with me, but she was sure she wanted to stay awake and see what all I was planning for her… so I got lots of cute pictures of her eyes wide open, checking out the world around her. Sophia is simply adorable and is obviously the jewel of her parents’ lives. Congrats to Midea & Brett on the birth of a perfect little darling!

We have been blessed to have been friends with Geri & Jimmy for a very long time. Actually my husband and Jimmy have been best friends ever since grade school! There is history there that is full of good memories (and a few that can’t be mentioned in public!) We are very excited to have more of our friends join the “parent” group since we have been mostly on our own there! There’s just something that changes when you become a parent… they’ll find that out soon!
They are thrilled to be welcoming a new baby boy to their home very soon. Geri has the nursery all ready for their little guy and seems to be totally prepared, at least as much as a new parent can be. She’s really looking forward to being off work and spending time with him… lots of snuggles coming up soon!

I think it’s so funny that within minutes of meeting Brett & Midea for the first time we discovered that we had 4 or 5 connections of knowing the same people. Small world indeed! We instantly got along great and the session felt totally relaxed as they offered ideas and were willing to try everything I suggested. I just love sessions where everything fits together just right and their session was totally like that. Midea is due in just a few weeks with a little girl and they seem totally thrilled to be entering into parenthood! Of course they’re a little nervous too, but I have a feeling they will be great parents. I absolutely love talking with soon-to-be parents and helping ease their fears a bit!
I can’t wait to meet their new little girl in just a few weeks! Congrats Midea & Brett!
