First of all I have to gush about my fabulous new backdrops!!! I just received two huge 9ft rolls of seamless paper that makes FANTASTIC backdrops for all my studio work. I have a dark grey (used here for our family shots) and a bright white. I am so happy to finally have these in my “toolbox”!

Saturday was the day I’d determined would be “family picture” day for my hubby and our two kids. Little did I know we’d all wake up with a case of the grumpies that day (well all of us except Lydia!) But… we worked through it and managed to look slightly happy here, right? See, I can work magic! LOL.

Then I did a special photo shoot with Lydia because she was celebrating her 3 months birthday! Happy Birthday Peanut! She is such a happy, easy going baby… we totally lucked out here! Look how alert and happy she is! I LOVE this age! (You’ll hear me say that again and again over her next two years. LOL.)

This expression cracks me up every time I see it… kind of a mix between an Italian mobster demanding his rightful respect and a sweet little child putting on the puppy-dog eyes to get what they want. Does this mean I’ll have my hands full?
