This past week I traveled to Milwaukee to celebrate the wedding of Erik and Dorothy. Dorothy is one of my best friends from way back and I was so thankful to get to spend so much time with her (and her new husband!) On the day after the wedding they got all dressed up again and we went into downtown Milwaukee to capture some special moments between the two of them. Here’s a sneak peek at some of my favorites from that evening:

I expect you’ll see a lot of pics of my darling daughter on this blog- she’s my favorite subject! Though she is not the most cooperative subject… usually thinks it’s funny to run towards the camera and not stay put. She’s still cute though, no?

A few weeks ago we went to visit one of my friends and her little girl- this is them picking up rocks on the beach

For the 4th of July holiday, my family and I went camping up in Atlanta, MI. We stayed on Clear Lake which was absolutely gorgeous- so blue it looked like the Caribbean! Nice campground and hiking trails too.

As I walked along the trail on our first night there, I caught this moment in the woods:
